AWS Setup for Productivity App

Designed and implemented a robust AWS architecture for a productivity-tracking web application, enhancing scalability and efficiency.
project involved configuring a custom backend using Nest.js hosted on Amazon EC2, complemented by AWS Lambda for specific, resource-light functions. Integrated Amazon RDS for a high-performance PostgreSQL database to manage extensive user data and AWS Cognito for secure user authentication. Key components included Amazon S3 for efficient data storage and retrieval, and Amazon API Gateway to manage secure API interactions.
Employed AWS IAM to ensure stringent security protocols, controlling access with meticulously managed permissions. The architecture was crafted to support high traffic, ensuring long-term scalability and cost-effectiveness. Advised on best practices for resource restriction to prevent unauthorized access and unexpected costs, including setting up IAM policies and service control policies.
The solution provided a seamless development experience, facilitating rapid development cycles, and included strategies for data sanitization and security.
