Jamaica Taxi AWS to Digital Ocean Migration

This project involved migrating the Jamaica Taxi website from Amazon Web Services (AWS) to Digital Ocean to leverage better resource management and cost efficiency. The transition included a full migration of data, application files, and necessary configurations to ensure a seamless transfer with minimal downtime. Additionally, the deployment of the Jamrock Taxi website to Digital Ocean was executed, encompassing the setup of its server environment and the migration of all associated files and databases. The project required meticulous planning to maintain data integrity and service availability. Both websites were configured for optimal performance on Digital Ocean's infrastructure, including SSL installation, database optimization, and server security enhancements. The migration also involved updating DNS settings to reflect new server IP addresses and testing to confirm that all features operated correctly post-migration. This successful shift not only improved the performance but also enhanced the scalability of the taxi service platforms, readying them for future expansions.
