As an AWS Expert Solutions Architect, I was tasked with performing an exhaustive review and analysis of the Ubuntu server hosting the WordPress website for Brandsec.com.au. This detailed report aimed to assess and enhance the server’s performance, security, and configuration.
In this project, I conducted a comprehensive server review for Brandsec.com.au on an Ubuntu server hosting a WordPress site. My responsibilities included analyzing system stability, evaluating hardware performance, and conducting a detailed software and security audit.
Key tasks involved monitoring CPU, memory, and disk usage, checking configurations of multiple PHP versions and the Nginx web server, and ensuring robust security measures were in place. I resolved critical permission issues, standardized PHP installations, and recommended security enhancements such as firewall adjustments and SSL configuration fixes.
final deliverable was a detailed report in both Word and PDF formats, outlining findings and strategic recommendations for optimizing server performance and security. This project showcases my expertise in delivering thorough server assessments and actionable insights for enhanced operational efficiency and security.
